Background:
This week, we needed a quick meal that was tasty and healthy! Immediately, what came to mind was wraps and after looking on the web I found this recipe. I’m glad I did…..

Recipes:
Steak Tacos: https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/smoky-steak-tacos-with-radish-salsa/
Tips and Tricks:
- I swapped the garlic powder for garlic salt and changed the smoked paprika for regular paprika, as that what I had to hand.
- I used minute steaks instead of flank steaks as I wanted a fast cook
- If your jalapeños are small, add in a few rather than just 1, to give more zing to the salsa
- Add in salad and low fat sour cream to help pad out the wrap
Recommendation and Rating:
Overall, everyone really enjoyed it! What’s not too like: wraps, salad, steak and salsa, they all make a perfect combination. The radish salsa was fresh and tangy, the steak was soft, the salad added crunch and the wraps provided a vessel for all the goodness. Although, the steak was nicely cooked, I didn’t taste much of the seasonings on it, and so next time it’d’ add in more spices like cumin or Chinese five spice, to add another dimension to the dish. Despite, now being a corn tortilla convert, they are flimsier than other wrap types so just be careful when eating. Due to minor corrections being needed, this dish gets 4 stars!
