Background:
After searching the cupboard one evening for table mats, I saw a something unusual at the back. To my surprise, it was a forgotten cake pop mould. Once bought on a whim and still residing in its original packaging, I thought it would be a waste to not to use!

Tips and Tricks:
- I substituted the butter for olive oil and the granulated/crystal sugar for light brown sugar to make the cake healthier
Recommendation and rating:
Overall, it was a fun little treat! The cake tasted pleasant and the chocolate coating was smooth and velvety which made for a nice snack. It was a relatively straight forward bake, and the cake pop mould was very easy to use. Next time, I’d use bolder cake flavours like coffee or orange, as the vanilla was overpowered by the chocolate coating. Additionally, more creativity with decoration is needed and so it gets a solid 3 stars!
