Background:
Whilst at my Nan’s I attempted another dish! After having a break from watching quiz shows and sport, the end of Jamie Oliver came on, and this recipe seemed good! A dessert that seemed healthy and quick. So I decided to give it a go!

Recipes:
Filo tarts: https://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/desserts/strawberry-filo-tarts/
Tips and Tricks:
A few substitutions I made in the recipe above:
- Instead of olive oil I used peanut butter as a spread
- Instead of pistachios I used walnuts
- Instead of strawberries I used blueberries
- I didn’t use balsamic, pepper, nor bay leaf
- I recommend only using two sheets of filo for the spirals as stated as I tried using more but the middle wasn’t crisp after baking!
Recommendation and rating:
Overall, this dessert was very pleasant. It was filling and fun to do! The crisp filo pastry, the nuttiness of the peanut butter and walnuts and the sharp contrast of the blueberries all blended well together! However, it was very simple to do, and I would add other fruit to the blueberries to provide more sweetness to the sauce. I also think it needs some low-fat ice cream. The yogurt was nice, but if you go with it, I’d choose one with a prominent flavour like lemon to add further contrast to the dish rather than just natural yogurt. So I give it 3 stars!
